SUSAN WEBER TO HEADLINE AT HI FI AFTERNOON SHOW ON APRIL 19
   
  Arimar Productions is presenting award-winning local songwriter and bandleader Susan Weber as the headliner in an afternoon of groups fronted by Northeast Ohio women at Lakewood's HiFi Concert Club on Saturday April 19.  
   
  Beginning at 1 p.m., and continuing until 5,  the concert will also feature 50 minute sets by Meredith Snyder, More Seratonin Please, and Someone Decide. Susan Weber will perform around 4 p.m.
   
  Weber, from Cleveland Heights, grew up as a classical pianist, migrating to acoustic and electric guitar under the guidance of Michele Temple of Pere Ubu.  Her 2007 release Monet's Orbit was listed in CoolCleveland's top ten local albums for the year, and won the kudos of local critics who compare her sound to The Jefferson Airplane, P.J. Harvey and a heartland version of Patti Smith. Weber was named "best female singer-songwriter"  by The Free Times ,and received an Honor Award from the Great American Song Contest.
