Two Day Stage Combat WorkshopMay 10th and 11th 10am- 6pm at the Historic Centrum Theater The Workshop will include: Hand to Hand CombatSafe Falling TechniquesSwordplay for the StageBasic Choreography Techniques  Price $200 Contact John at John at thefightdirector.com to registerStudents are welcome to bring video or still cameras for portfolio shots. The workshop is open to ages 16 and up. Weapons provided by the instructor but if you have your own please bring them. Be sure to wear Workout attire and athletic shoes. Instructor: John C DavisA professional fight director for the past twenty two years, John has certified with five major stage combat organizations worldwide and is a recognized Instructor with the International Order of the Sword and Pen. John is best known for his Comedy swordfighting show,"HackandSlash" which has performed over four thousand shows in sixteen countries. Since 2001, "Hack and Slash' has been entertaining soldiers overseas . To date He has performed over one hundred shows in the field and has traveled to the most remote regions of both Afghanistan and Iraq.After moving to Ohio in 2006 ,John has been making his mark and has taught directed and choreographed for twenty courses and productions in past two years. As an Adjunct Professor, John will be teaching Stage Combat at Oberlin College this fall and Directing Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for the Cleveland Shakespeare festival this summer. Currently he is working on " My Favorite Year" at the Beck Center
