MovieMaker Magazine's "spring 2008: Film Festivals Edition (at news
stands) lists The Indie Gathering as one of its top "25 fests worth the
fee".

 

            "While some festivals gain a reputation based on glitz and
glamour, other events exist for the sheer love of the moviemaking
medium. The Indie Gathering in Cleveland, OH falls into the latter
category. It's a Moviemaker-focused event and they've got all the bases
covered. This event consists of a film festival, Independent film
convention, lectures and panel discussions, networking parties, script
competition, film scoring competition, FX makeup competition and stunt
fight scene competition - all in three days at one location. It's a wide
range of events - offering a little something for everyone."
