Originally presented on Broadway by Stuart Ostrow

>From the director...

"The brainchild of a high school history teacher/pop songwriter who wanted to bring our nations founding to life for his students, this remarkably crafted musical will serve as an artistic vehicle for actors, musicians, artists and spectators alike.

Amidst a historic presidential election, a controversial 'war on terror', divisive battles over religion, race and rights, we return to the first great turning point in American history to ask fundamental questions: What is American? What is liberty? What is 'Change'? For what do we 'Hope'? To what/whom shall we pledge our allegiance? What does that even mean?

We will assemble a diverse community of players to take up this joyous work.

Will you join the revolution?"

 - JT Buck

Theatre Company Info:

Home: for the Arts is a community arts initiative of First Grace United Church of Christ. In our effort to engage our community in meaningful artistic experiences, we will not discriminate against any actor or audience member on the basis of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, mental/physical disability, gender identity, marital status, religious or socio-economic background. We are constantly evolving our mission and vision to meet our rapidly changing world as it is.

Currently, H4A consists of a professional director, a core team of professional actors, and a dedicated group of passionate volunteers who believe that a performance should be a life event, not just a live event.

Having presented performances by companies such as Queen Bee Productions, the New World Performance Laboratory and singer/songwriter Shawn Thomas, H4A produced it's first 'in-house' production (the critically acclaimed 'Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol") this past December. We are committed to excellent acting, excellent writing, and excellent storytelling. We do not offer a subscription season, blow big cash on big advertising, or try to knock you out with elaborate techno wizardry. We work largely by word-of-mouth. We take our time. We let it simmer. We cook it up with love. Welcome 'Home'.
