The Columbia University thesis film SWEET LADIES, GOOD NIGHT is  
shooting this June in Akron, Ohio, and the filmmakers are currently  
searching for brilliant, interesting and unique male actors between  
(or who can feasibly play) 30 - 40 years of age.  We are holding an  
additional day of Akron auditions on Saturday, June 7, from 10 am -  
4:30 pm.  Interested parties should email has9 at uakron.edu or  
tellerglass at gmail.com with your full name, age, and desired audition  
time.  Please also provide a current headshot and resume.  After you  
request an audition, you will receive all the relevant details  
regarding the audition location, along with the appropriate sides.

SWEET LADIES, GOOD NIGHT is written and directed by Columbia MFA  
candidate Bo Bishop, produced by 2007 Independent Spirit Award  
nominee Brendan McFadden, and based on the short story by acclaimed  
author Scott Bradfield.  It will debut at this year's New York Film  
Festival, as well as Columbia University's NY and LA film festivals.   
Films from Columbia's graduate program have swept top honors at  
Sundance two years running, and are known for their compelling  
stories and cinematic innovation.  Participating actors are  
guaranteed international exposure, as well as experience with a  
relaxed New York based crew.  This is also a SAG certified production.

Principal photography is scheduled for Sunday, June 15 - Wednesday,  
June 18.  You must be available these days, no exceptions.  Please do  
not request an audition if you know you will be unavailable.

Synopsis: After a womanizing plumber named Bob Reilley steals his  
girlfriend, passive-aggressive accountant Arnold Bromley decides to  
buy a gun and get even.  An intellectual battle of karmic proportions  
ensues.  SWEET LADIES, GOOD NIGHT is a darkly comic, visceral take on  
love and fate, mixing the Coen Brother's pitch black humor with the  
rapid-fire dialogue of David Mamet.
