ASSISTANT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – The Player’s Guild Theatre is currently seeking to fill the position of Assistant Technical Director. This is a full-time, 12 month position to begin 01 July 08. Some weekends and evening hours are required.

  Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Resident Technical Director in constructing sets; scenic painting; hang and focus of show lighting; set up and maintenance of sound equipment; fabrication of props; maintenance of scene shop and theatrical facility; assisting in training and supervising of volunteers.  Some design positions for shows may be available.  The 08-09 season will compromise of 9 shows, plus additional rentals.  Knowledge and skills in stage management is a major plus. BA/BFA in technical theatre or relevant training expected; current undergrad students with a focus in technical theatre or relative training with a minimum of 3 year experience working in a scene shop will be considered. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license. This is a paid position.
