Porch StoriesTM Returns to Hudson

Actors' Summit, Hudson's professional theater, and Skywave Writers of
Hudson, announce their second annual "Porch Stories(tm)" tour. Scheduled
to take place on July 12, 2008.

"Porch Stories(tm)" is a tour of Hudson's grand old porches with stories
of our town's history told by professional actors from Actors' Summit
Theater. Stories are told in first person narration. Skywave Writers of
Hudson research and write the stories, building on oral histories,
newspaper articles, letters, and personal journals. Story topics may
include Hudson's role in the Underground Railway and a nineteenth
century church scandal.

Volunteers guide participants on a leisurely stroll through Hudson's
historic village, past beautiful 19th century homes.

Beginning at 3:00 PM tours will leave from Hudson's Clocktower Green
every fifteen minutes. Each tour lasts about an hour. The final tour
leaves at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $6 for students.
Children 6 years and under can accompany their parents at no charge.

Timed tickets can be purchased at the Actors' Summit box office
(330-342-0800) on line at actorssummit.org, or at select Hudson
merchants (Uniquely Ohio, Jake's Good Life, and The Learned Owl.)
