BLACKBIRD by David Harrower - Director, Scott Plate

will be performed at the Cleveland Play House Jan 16-Feb 8


Ray and Una had an affair 15 years ago....when Una was 12.  Ray has served a
prison term and now he is out.  He has changed his name and gotten a new
job.  Una finds him once again.  Their intense reunion takes place in the
lunchroom of Ray's office.  Ray will be played by Joel Hammer

-Auditioning for 1 woman, mid 20's-----Please prepare a 2 minute
contemporary dramatic monologue

Performance dates....March 13-April 5

Beverly commands a friendly office reception area, effortlessly answering
phones while dishing out romantic advice to her colleague, Lorraine.  The
arrival of Mr. Dart from the central office changes the personal dynamics
and the true nature of "the business" begins to become apparent.

Beverly--age 45-55...a wonderful complex, comic role....PLEASE AUDITION FOR
