Underwater photo exhibit "Shrimp to Sharks" will be served up for viewing during the City of Painesville "Art In The Park" event on August 16, 2008. The exhibit will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M.
On display will be framed prints of underwater marine life ranging from Ohio, the Caribbean and the Western Pacific. Prints will range in size from 5 inches X 7 inches to 20 inches X 30 inches and are available for sale. This form of art offers a very unique decorating theme for homes and offices.
The photos are the work of Tom Szabo an area commercial, portrait, wedding and underwater photographer. As an avid diver and photographer, he is a PADI certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer providing scuba diving training. In addition, Mr. Szabo teaches 3 underwater photography classes, including one he authored.
Underwater photography is not something seen often here in northeast Ohio. Tom’s photography and articles have been published in national dive magazines.

Photography has been a passion for Szabo for decades. After being downsized from the corporate world, in 1999 he opened his studio A Thomas Image. The studio provides portrait services for families, individuals and couples. Commercial assignments for business range from product shots, and aerial photography to executive portraits. Wedding assignments are also part of the service offering at A Thomas Image.
