AUDITIONS

A Tri-C Visual Communication and Design student is seeking actors to tape the pilot of a 30-minute TV show, “Sherlock Rolmes: Explorer Series”. This is an original script taped by a student crew resulting in a finished pilot which will be shopped to various TV stations. Taping will be done at the Sandy Ridge Reservation of the Lorain County Metro Parks.

This show is geared to the preteen, early teen market. The lead character, Sherlock Rolmes (a take on Sherlock "Holmes" but not the famous character himself), spends a great deal of time observing wildlife. He's intelligent and inquisitive, loves life and sees humor in most situations. His role in this show is to educate and entertain the audience and his niece (15) and nephew (11) as he helps them to gain more balance in their lives amidst the stresses and high-tech world we all live in.

I am looking for actors to portray the following characters:

  Lead –
Sherlock Rolmes – Caucasian man in his 30s, trim and
adventurous, just a little quirky, and lots of fun.

  Supporting –
Kat Watson – Caucasian woman in her late 30s, Sherlock’s
         sister, upbeat and energetic

Also seeking an adult couple for minor roles (any race, mid-20s and up).

Actors will not receive payment but will receive onscreen credit and copy of finished pilot.

Auditions will be held Monday, August 18, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 21255 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH, meeting room on lower level. Please be prepared to stay for at least one hour.
