A professional fight director for the past twenty four years, John has certified with five major stage combat organizations worldwide and is a recognized Instructor with the International Order of the Sword and Pen. John is best known for his Comedy swordfighting show,"HackandSlash" which has performed over four thousand shows in sixteen countries. Since 2001, "Hack and Slash' has been entertaining soldiers overseas . To date He has performed over one hundred shows in the field and has traveled to the most remote regions of both Afghanistan and Iraq.After moving to Ohio in 2006 ,John has been making his mark and has taught directed and choreographed for twenty courses and productions in past two years. As an Adjunct Professor, John will be teaching Stage Combat at Oberlin College this fall.
