Auditions for the 
Last Five Years


August 25th & 26th 7pm - 10pm


An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.  


The Last Five Years explores a relationship
between Jamie, a rising novelist, and Cathy, a struggling actress.   The
songs are presented as soliloquies, except for a wedding song in the middle,
where the two characters share a duet and interact for the 

first and only time
throughout the entire one act musical.  

The
music soars effortlessly from one song to the next stirring the vast corners of
the soul and garnered the 2002 Drama Desk Award for outstanding music and
lyrics. 



The Last 5 Years is a Two person musical that will be Double Cast.

We are looking for 2 men and 2 women for:

Jamie: Bari-Tenor, plays late 20s to early 30s.

Kathy: Mezzo-Soprano/Belt, plays early 20s to late 20s. 

Please prepare one song in the style of the show or prepare a song from the show.

Callbacks will be Thursday August 28th. 

Rehearsals begin September 1st, and run Monday thru Thursday 7pm to 10pm.

Performance dates are September 19th through September 28th.

Audition appointments are suggested. Audition slots run every hour.
