Low Life Gallery: Sneak Peek Grand Opening
Shoparooni: Kidrobot Series 5 Dunny Release Party & Raffle

Thursday, September 4th - 7 PM - 10 PM
Free and open to the public.

@LOW LIFE GALLERY

There is a global war on culture and we are fighting back! Cleveland’s newest gallery, Low Life, opens in September with a three-person show featuring artists Ryan Kacsandy, Staci McNasty and Robert Saczkowski. These artists were chosen because they share common themes: alienation, despair and isolation, which to some may be disturbing yet to others they can relate to the imagery.

This exhibition will be available for viewing from September 5th through September 21st. there will be a special gallery sneak peak on September 4th from 7pm-10pm. There will be an opening reception on September 5th from 7pm – 11pm.

@SHOPAROONI

Shoparooni will be hosting an official release party for the new Kidrobot 3" Dunny series, and you can even win a 15" Glow In The Dark vinyl bust of Smokin' Joe Stalin, designed by Frank Kozik!! Every $5 in Kidrobot merch purchased on September 4th equals one raffle ticket. At 10:00 PM, we'll be drawing one lucky winner, and they'll go home with Kozik's Stalin bust.

A Dunny is a vinyl platform figure created by artist Tristan Eaton, and Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz. The idea is simple: a vinyl figure that is loaded with whatever personality an artist assigns to it. It's a blank, 3-D canvas made of rotocast vinyl that are intended to be customized by artists around the world. Each year, Kidrobot releases multiple series of Dunnys decorated by artists from around the world as a "blind box" figure...each box is sealed, and you don't know which design from the series you're going to get! Some figures are rarer than others, and each series contains an ultra-rare "chase" figure limited to tiny quantities.

Both locations are located in the heart of North Collinwood on Waterloo Road; right down the street from Arts Collinwood and The Beachland Ballroom.
