Fall Semester Class Schedule

Placement by age is approximate: The faculty will determine all final
placements within the first 2 weeks of classes to insure appropriate
progress and development.

Mondays:       Ballet I (7-10yrs) 4:00-5:30pm, Adult Modern (16+)
5:45-7:15pm

 Tuesdays:       Modern I (7-10 yrs) 4:00-5:30pm, Modern II (11-15 yrs)
5:45-7:15pm

 Wednesdays:       TBD 5:00-6:00pm, Adult Beginning Dance (16 + yrs)
6:00-7:15pm

 Thursdays:       Ballet II/III with Pointe (11-15 yrs) 4:00-5:45pm ,
Jazz/Hip-Hop II (11-15 yrs) 5:45-7:15pm

 Fridays:       Master Class Sessions 6:00-7:30pm

 Saturdays:       Kinderdance (4-6 yrs) 9:30-10:30am
Student Company Repertory & Composition* 11:00-1:00pm *Class by permission
of instructor
The student company, comprised of Level II/III students, may appear with the
professional company in outreach performances throughout the year.
Interested students must have permission of the director and be registered
for both a ballet and modern technique class.

There is a $15 registration/administration fee for the 2008-2009 School of
Verlezza Dance academic year     A 10% discount available for single
students and families attending 2 or more classes a week.

The company is joined by all four members of the Verlezza family, three as
choreographers, in two world premieres, flanking two recently acclaimed
works.

The concert will feature:

 The Secret Story choreographed by Sabatino Verlezza and Barbara Allegra
Verlezza. This new work is a dramatic exploration of the detention and
internment of 100,000 Italian Americans during World War II set to the
exquisite music of John Corigliano.

The Golden Mean, which uses contemporary mixes of traditional music from
different faiths, and is Verlezza's Socratic pursuit of tolerance and
inclusion through the balance of faith, passion and spirit.

In Blank Canvas, Sabatino Alexander Verlezza, explores the elements of
de-humanization in a Hip-Hop style quartet.  His Moments in Balance, an
offering from the critically acclaimed community event "In Concert with
Ludlow", searches for equilibrium and stillness in relationship to
community, self, and the intimacy of two people.

at 2pm
