Night Watch an outstanding Broadway success, this ingeniously devised thriller builds steadily in menace and suspense until the final, breath stopping moment of its unexpected ending.  “A most superior thriller..which from its first blood curdling scream to its last charming surprise is a first class example of its genre.”--NY Times

Unable to sleep Elaine Wheeler (Sue Jeromson) paces the living room of her Manhattan townhouse, troubled by unsettling memories and fears.  Her husband (Pat Petipas) tries to comfort her, but when he steps away for a moment Elaine screams as she sees (or believes she sees) the body of a dead man in the window across the way.  The police (Irv Korman, David Klainer) are called, but find nothing.  Elaine’s terror grows as she sees another body – this time a woman’s--—but by now everyone is skeptical and pays no attention.

Her husband, claiming that she is on the verge of a breakdown calls in a psychiatrist (Neal Nandi) who agrees that Elaine should commit herself for treatment. Then the plot moves quickly and grippingly involving Elaine’s old friend Blanche (JoAnna Bratt) and an inquisitive neighbor who lives next door (Stayce Nabors) and of course the nosy German maid Helga (Glenda Taylor) all contribute to the deepening suspense and mystery of the play as it draws towards its riveting and chilling climax

Sue Jeromson, Pat Petipas, Neal Nandi, JoAnna Bratt and Glenda Taylor are all new to our stage although they have appeared in many productions at neighboring playhouses.  Irv Korman, and Board Members Stayce Nabors, David Klainer and
Walt Kaminski return to WRP to our delight and that of our audiences.  Jonathan Kronenberger directs this talented cast.  Walt Kaminski in a scene that will lighten the tension of the play also acts as assistant director.  Bobbie Birch is stage manager and Sue Snyder handles lights and sound.  Producer is Marie Dusini
