Ride for Miles

The 15-mile ride celebrates the life and work of
biologist/bicyclist Miles Coburn (9/23/49-8/16/2008) and his commitment to
stop global climate change.  Individual choices, such as bicycling instead of driving, can make a difference.

Program begins at 10:00 a.m. at John Carroll University,
University Heights 
Meet at the parking lot on the east side of the Dolan Center
for Science and Technology
(enter the campus at the North Park entrance)

REGISTER:  Free preregistration
at WWW.RIDEFORMILES.ORG or beginning
at 9 a.m. day of ride

WEAR:  Ride for Miles Bicycle Jerseys
$45/T-shirts $15 available on the day of the ride.  Order your size when registering.  Mail check by September 13 made out to Chris
Coburn, 21300 Claythorne Road, Shaker Heights, Ohio 44122.

RIDE:  Free to riders
of all abilities wearing a helmet.  The
ride begins and ends at JCU.


EAT:  Lunch for
participants after the ride generously provided by Cleveland Heights
restaurants!!!

VOLUNTEER:  Many are
needed to help out.  Volunteer at WWW.RIDEFORMILES.ORG.
