The Last 5 Years is an emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two
New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.  The Last Five Years explores a relationship
between Jamie, a rising novelist, and Cathy, a struggling actress. The show
uses a novel form of storytelling in which Cathy travels backwards in time…beginning
the show at the end of their marriage…and Jamie travels forwards…starting the
show with the couple's first date.  The
songs are presented as soliloquies, except for a wedding song in the middle,
where the two characters share a duet and interact for the first and only time
throughout the entire one act musical.  The
music soars effortlessly from one song to the next stirring the vast corners of
the soul and garnered the 2002 Drama Desk Award for outstanding music and
lyrics.

The Last 5 Years runs September 19th-28th.
Performances are
Fridays at 8pm
Saturdays at 2:30pm & 8pm
Sundays at 2:30pm
