[NEohioPAL] MAIN-TRAVELLED ROADS - What a wonderful show!

We just went to see Actors' Summit's latest offering and it was fabulous!
It's apparently a new musical written by David Hudson and Paul Libman, and I
predict that once people find out about it, they will be inundated with
requests to perform this show.

Only five people: Four actors and the musical director, so it's quite a
challenge to pull off a musical with such a small number - but they did it!
Keith Stevens, Kathleen Culler, C.J. Bonde, and Stephen Brockway are
excellent as the actors/singers and the talented Evie Morris is the musician
(who is onstage the whole time). The four actors had wonderful voices and
stage presence, and we were entranced from start to finish. It was well
directed and beautifully choreographed by Sasha Thackaberry, with assistance
from Peter Voinovich.

It tells a story of several people: what happens to them; what the
repercussions are; and how they handle it. Just everyday country stories,
but woven with love and understanding of people's foibles. The music holds
the show together wonderfully, and the lyrics are very clever - sometimes
poignant, sometimes funny. The song entitled, "Small Town Telegraph" alone
is worth the trip to see this exciting new show.

Don't miss your chance to be among the first to experience MAIN-TRAVELLED
ROADS at Actors' Summit in Hudson, running September 18 through October 5.
