Auditions for “BABES IN TOYLAND”

Tallmadge Dynamics Community Theater will hold auditions for its holiday musical production of  “Babes in Toyland”  Those who wish to try out may attend one of two audition sessions, Monday, October 6 or Tuesday, October 7th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Vocal Music (room 1404) at Tallmadge High School,140 North Munroe Road.  Please use the staff parking lot and entrance on the northwest side of the building.

At
the audition, scripts will be provided for a brief read-through.  In
addition, persons seeking a role in this production should prepare 8 to
10 measures of a song.  Dynamics does not require that the song be from
the production.  Those auditioning may either sing a cappella or bring
the score of the music for accompaniment, a tape or CD.  

Interested participants should bring a small, wallet-size photo or snapshot, which cannot be returned. 

For
casting purposes, Dynamics is looking for men and women of all ages
and  school age children through high school.  Matthew Dolan and Erica
Haynes will co-direct the production.

The production will be staged on the weekends of Friday and Saturday December 12 and Dece,ber 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

In
addition to on-stage performers, the theater is looking for persons who
would like to volunteer behind the scenes: building and painting sets,
sewing and designing costumes, make-up, manning the concessions or
working with stage crew on props and moving sets. 

”Babes in Toyland” will be the first production for Dynamics in
 the new high school auditorium.   This is the 15th year for Dynamics which was  established in the Tallmadge City Schools
with a state grant for intergenerational programming.   For more
