*ANNOUNCE AUDITIONS FOR SHOW BOAT AND PAGLIACCI*

            Through a grant generously funded by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture,
the 2008-09 Solon Center for the Arts Opera Season continues with Opera Per
Tutti (Opera For All) in two productions including scenes from Jerome Kern's
and Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Show Boat" on January 16 and 18, 2009, and
Leoncavallo's "I Pagliacci" on May 15 and 17, 2009.



            Auditions will be held on Monday, November 3 beginning at 6:00
pm at Solon Center for the Arts.  Opera Per Tutti is looking to cast the
roles of Magnolia, Capn' Andy and Queenie and 15 chorus parts.  For "I
Pagliacci" the roles are Tonio, Beppe/Harlequin and 15 chorus parts.
Additional
times and call backs will take place on Wednesday, November 3 at 6:00 pm All
parts will be compensated.



            Singers are encouraged to bring their own accompanist. If you
don't have an accompanist, one can be provided for you at your expense for
$10.  Arrangements for the accompanist must be secured at the time an
audition appointment is set.  Payment is due upon arrival by check or cash.
