AWARD WINNING BROADWAY COMPOSER/ MUSIC DIRECTOR/ PIANIST JEFF SAVER TO CONDUCT MASTER CLASS AT KONTINUOUS JAMS MUSIC - NOVEMBER 22.



Broadway Masterclass Series, Kontinuous Jams' very popular program, has touched the lives of countless performers from the Northeastern Ohio area. The Masterclass is a unique opportunity for local performers to sing for a music director, dance for a dance captain, or act with cast members of  Broadway shows. In the true master class fashion, participating performers have an unforgettable experience. This successful program gives performers a taste of the world of theater as well as participating in workshops that are led by national level talent.



JEFF SAVER MASTER CLASS- SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22ND, KONTINUOUS JAMS MUSIC

Jeff is the composer of the Broadway musicals  Dodsworth  (starring Hal Linden & Dee Hoty)  and  Time After Time  with collaborator Stephen Cole. He has written and arranged special material for  Chita Rivera, Christine Baranski,   Rosie O'Donnell,  Dorothy Loudon,   Joel Grey,  Bebe Neuwirth  and others. As a music director and pianist his credits include thirteen Broadway shows, including  Chicago,  Kiss Of The Spider Woman,  Into The Woods,  Sunday in the Park with George,  The Secret Garden,  The Rink, and  A Chorus Line.  Off Broadway:  The Fantasticks,  Lucky Stiff.   Tours: Dancin'  (U.S. and Japan),  A Chorus Line  (Paris).  Regional:  Sweeney Todd  with George Hearn and Judy Kaye at Paper Mill Playhouse,  Merrily We Roll Along  and  A Wonderful Life  at Arena Stage  and  Arthur  at the Goodspeed Opera House.  Recently served as musical supervisor of a benefit concert for The Actor's Fund of  A Wonderful Life,  with an all-star cast featuring Brian Stokes Mitchell, Judy Kuhn, and David Hyde-Pierce.  Cast albums include  Time After Time/Dodsworth - New Songs from New Musicals  (featuring Judy Blazer, Christian Borle, Liz Callaway and Walter Charles, available on Original Cast Records OC 6128),  Chicago  (both Broadway & Soundtrack),  Kiss of the Spider Woman  (with Vanessa Williams) and  Lucky Stiff.



There will be 2 master classes on Nov. 22.  The classes will be divided into two groups; Age 12-18, and College Level to Professional Performer (18+).  Performers will have the opportunity to sing for Saver.  Saver will observe, critique and guide performers in typical master class fashion.



The master classes are Saturday, November 22nd; 11:00AM - 1:00PM and 3:00PM-5:00PM, Additional Q & A segment from 5:00PM-6:00PM  Performing slots are extremeley limited.  Reserve early to avoid dissappointment.  Performers are invited to attend the alternate class as an observer.  All Performers and observers are invited to the Q & A segment.  Reservations required for performers and observers.  Space limited.
