The Rising Star Talent Competition at PlayhouseSquare has moved to March 2009. This means you have more time to prepare your best act - whether you are eight or eighty, a clogger or an opera singer; you can participate and possibly win $500! And there's no entry fee to participate in this competition!

Qualifying Rounds:
Wednesday, February 4, 2009
3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturday, February 7, 2009
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

You must make an appointment and audition at one of the qualifying rounds to be eligible for the final competition. The competition is open to singers and dancers only - there are no acting, comedy, poetry or musical/instrumental categories at this time

The acts chosen will perform at PlayhouseSquare on Saturday, March 21, 2009 and cash prizes will be awarded.
