*"The Wizard Of Oz"*



Beachwood, OH – Beachwood Community Theatre is paving a yellow brick road
from Beachwood to Cleveland. But we need your help. The 50 young cast
members are sending holiday gifts to the some of the 1,447 children in
Cleveland's shelters You can help the 1,447 children by bringing a wrapped
gift, tagged with the appropriate age and gender, to one of the
performances.



Supporting the theme "There's No Place Like Home" the cast & crew would like
to reach out to Cleveland homeless.  A toiletry collection will be taken at
the door. Other items requested are paper towels, Clorox wipes, tissue, wash
clothes, towels, dishes & bedding.  Only new items are accepted. Please help
this cast in assisting the homeless of Cleveland.

Beachwood Community Theater along with producer/director Jill
Koslen-Freireich celebrate 25 years as Beachwood's premier community
theater.  As part of the celebration they proudly present *The Wizard of Oz*
.



Join  Dorothy, The Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion on their journey down the
yellow brick road.  This magnificent story by L. Frank Baum appeals to the
"kid" in all of us!   Enjoy two hours of enchantment in the land of Oz this
holiday season.



This cast of 60 plus actors join veteran actors with children ranging from
grades 2 – 12.   Performers travel from as far as Akron along with cast
members coming from Shaker Hts., Solon, Cleveland Heights, Orange Village,
University Heights,  Bainbridge, Lyndhurst and of course, Beachwood.  There
are over 12 families working together on the stage in this production.



On Saturdays December 13 and December 20 the cast will feature a "Dress Like
Dorothy" contest.  All youngsters dressed like any of the leading characters
are welcomed to the stage during intermission and will have a photo taken
with cast members.



Tickets are $6 for Students & $7 for Adults
