When she meets his kooky neighbor, sexy actress Jill, Mrs. Baker's controlling instincts go into overdrive with hilariously touching results.

Characters (actors/actresses can be older, but must look character age):
Don Baker - early 20's, wants to be self-reliant. Feels suffocated by his over-protective mother. Has great optimistic outlook. Funny, endearing personality. Ability to play guitar is a plus, but not required.
Jill Benson - 19 years old. Flighty, doesn't know what she wants, open to everything. Outgoing, funny, lives for the moment, afraid of commitment.
Florence Baker - 40's-50's. Don's mother - controlling, overprotective. Smart, successful writer of children's books. Well-bred manner, very strong-willed. Doesn't think Don is ready to be independent.
Ralph Austin - mid to late 20's. Director of an off-Broadway play. Tries to be avant-garde. This character is in one scene.
