The Clague Playhouse Gallery presents an exhibit by award winning artist Doris Minnich during the run of the Two One-Act Plays: A Remedy of Tea and The Way of All Fish, January 9 - February 1, 2009.  

Doris has been a watercolor artist for about 10 years.  She is mostly self-taught, but has taken watercolor classes from Bob Moyer and Diane Boldman who both teach at Bay Arts in Bay Village.  For the past several years, she has won first place watercolor awards and best-of-show awards at the annual Lakewood Art League Show.

Doris worked for many years at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a registered nurse in the oncology department.  She later worked for New Life Hospice.  She is now retired and is enjoying her family and traveling.  She has four grown children and nine grandchildren.  She and her husband, Charles, reside in Avon Lake.

The lobby gallery is open during Box Office hours, Wednesday through Saturday 1:00-6:00pm.

A free reception for patrons follows the Friday, January 9 performance where there will be an opportunity to meet the gallery artist and the cast. 

Clague Playhouse is located south of Detroit Road off the I-90W Clague Road Exit.  Free parking as always.
