We are looking for 2 wonderful actresses to fill the roles of Grandma and Gert.
 
Grandma is a fantastic and challenging role for a woman 50 years of age or older (required to look in her 70s).  Requires a German accent but we can help with that.  
 
Gert is a smaller role for a woman in her 30s or 40s, with challenges of it's own.  
 
Here's the synopsis of the play:
It is New York, 1942, after the death of their mother, two young boys are sent to
stay with their stern, iron-clad, German grandmother and child-like Aunt Bella while
their father must travel to earn money to pay a large debt incurred to loan sharks
to pay his wife’s medical bills. Considered by many to be the best play Neil Simon
ever wrote, it won the Pulitzer Prize in 1991 and 4 Tony awards.

Rehearsals will be Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays up until the final week or two before opening.
