Workshop Players announce auditions for
TO GILLIAN ON HER 37TH BIRTHDAY

Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24 from 7:00  to 9:00 p.m at the
Workshop Players Theatre, located at 44820 Middle Ridge Rd in Amherst.

Performances:  April 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, May 1, 2, 3, 2009

Needed are five females (females age 16 and three females ages 20's to 40's)
and two males ages 30's to 40's.

    There have been many requests to bring this delightful comedy/drama back
to the Workshop stage. It is the story of David, a college professor,
struggling to come to terms with the death of his wife Gillian, who died in
an accident two years before the start of the play.  David's teenage
daughter Rachel is worried about his emotional well-being.  And Gillian's
sister Esther comes to town with two objectives--1) Take Rachel home with
her and her husband and 2) Fix David up with her young friend Kevin to help
David move on with his life. This simply is a marvelous study of human
reactions to the loss of a loved one, and the arduous climb to recovery.  A
nice actor's play with interesting twists and turns.
