[NEohioPAL] AUDITION for "Heddatron" (Theater Ninjas)

Theater Ninjas announce auditions for their upcoming production of  
"Heddatron" by Elizabeth Meriweather.

A pregnant housewife is abducted by robots and taken to the rainforest  
and forced to perform Hedda Gabler by her robot captors. Meanwhile,  
her family is back home in Michigan trying to find her, and Henrik  
Ibsen is in Norway attempting to write Hedda Gabler, as Strindberg  
taunts him. A hilarious and savage journey to freedom.

This will be the only play on Cleveland stages this season that  
includes humans and robots singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart".

Seriously.

ROLES NEEDED
2 women, age 20-50
1 woman, able to play a 10 year wunderkind
6 men, age 20-50
1 monkey
5 robots/operators

All auditions will be at the Cleveland Play House, Rehearsal Hall B.

Monday, February 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Tuesday, February 24 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
Wednesday, February 25 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.


Please prepare a 2-3 minute contemporary monologue (preferably  
tragicomic), a resume, and current headshot. Auditioners must reserve  
a slot by emailing jpaul at theaterninjas.com or calling 440-773-4719.  
Positions include a modest stipend.

Rehearsals begin March 16.
Heddatron runs from April 17 - May 3
