Huntington Playhouse To Hold Auditions 
for “Forbidden Broadway” 
  
Huntington Playhouse will hold auditions for “Forbidden Broadway” on  Saturday, Feb. 14that 3:30 PM.  The production, directed by Kevin Joseph Kelly, opens on May 7th and plays through May 31st.  The production team consists of Heidi Herzeg (musical director), Jennifer Glowe (choreographer), and David Glowe (costumes). 
  
The director will be casting 3 men and 3 women of various ages but they must be over 21 years old. No appointments are necessary. There are no Equity contracts for this production. Those auditioning should bring a comedic musical selection in the correct key with sheet music.  An accompanist will be provided.   The cast must be extremely versatile, with outrageous energy and an astute knowledge of Broadway shows and performers.  Rehearsals will begin on March 23rd.  
  
The cast should be a triple threat, with a strong comedic sense, good sense of movement, and an ability to imitate famous Broadway performers including Carol Channing, Mandy Patinkin, Liza Minelli, and sing the roles from shows like “Les Miserables”, “Rent”, “Spamalot”, “Hairspray” and others.
