A spacious 2nd floor of a house is available for rent as of March.  The house is located on West 11th St. south of Clark (just 8 houses north of the Christmas Story house) near Steelyard Commons.  The unit has a dining room, living room, office/bedroom, large bath and a cozy loft with skylights (most often used as a bedroom).  There is also a washer and dryer in the basement which is for your exclusive use.  A new high efficiency furnace with digital thermostat heats the unit, water is heated by gas, and the kitchen stove is electric.  Landlord is responsible to pay water and sewer; the tenant is responsible for all other utilities: heat, electricity, phone, cable, etc.  Rent is $525.  Security deposit is one month’s rent due at signing of lease.  I am willing to discuss a short-term lease.  The property is only available to artists.  I keep my rent low in an attempt to give local artists a chance to live and thrive in a nice place, with a caring landlord, while they try to “do their thing”.
