The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is pleased to announce its premiere education program musical,
Children of Eden. The goal of the program is to give young performers the opportunity to work alongside
experienced actors in a high-quality theater production. "This is the perfect choice for our premiere show because it
portrays a phenomenal story and literally features every member of the cast," says Tim Anderson, newly-hired
education director for the Spotlights. "During a time when public schools' performing arts programs are being cut,
the Spotlights' Board of Trustees unanimously agreed that we should provide a positive, creative outlet for young
performers."

The directing team also includes Deborah Ingersoll as music director and Tia Zingale, a 17-year-old high-school
student, as choreographer. In addition to the cast, the orchestra also includes student musicians playing alongside
local professionals. Likewise, student technicians will be responsible for the behind-the-scenes components.
The show, written by Wicked and Godspell composer Stephen Schwartz, retells the first eight chapters of the Book
of Genesis. With a deeply compelling storyline and family-friendly message, the show appeals to audiences of all
ages and religions.

The show will run for one weekend, March 20 - 22, at the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School Performing
Arts Center, 6376 Mill Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.

Group ticket sales, sponsorship opportunities, and program advertisement space are available. For more
