Cultural Dancers needed for Migratory Bird Day event at Cleveland Metroparks
Zoo:

 

Searching for dancers interested in showcasing their dance group/school by
performing a cultural dance having to do with birds for the 2009
International Migratory Bird Day event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. 

Event date: Saturday May 9th , 2009

Event time: 10am-3pm

Event theme: Birds and Culture (this event will take place throughout Zoo
grounds). 

 

Birds are symbolic in many cultures, and many cultures celebrate a bird's
uniqueness through dance. The interpretation of cultural bird dance could be
anything from the chicken dance to Swan Lake to the dance of the Red Crowned
crane.  If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact
