The Sandstone Summer Theatre located in Amherst, OH is currently
advertising for a paid position of Technical Director for the 2009
summer performances for the two youth groups.  

 

APPRENTICES and SUNSHINE COMPANY - each group will perform its own
musical play, and the plays are performed in the Amherst Steele High
School cafetorium located on Washington St.
 
SUNSHINE COMPANY - age group 8 - 11 years old, rehearsals begin June 29,
2009 from 9:30 to 11:30 with performances July 31 + August 1, 2009.

APPRENTICES - age group 12 to 14 years old, rehearsals begin June 29,
2009 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with performances July 31 + August 1,
2009.
 

The Technical Director is responsible to design and build simple sets
and props for each play under the guidance of the Director.  Technical
assistants will be onsite to help with construction, painting etc.,
under the supervision of the Technical Director.  This is a daytime
position, and applicant must be at least 21 years old.
