Cassidy Theatre Announces Final Show in 2009 Season

The Cassidy Theatre has announced that the final show in their 2009 mini season will be the classic family favorite Meredith Willson’s The Music Man.

An affectionate tribute to Small town, U.S.A. of a bygone era, Meredith Willson’s The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he swindles the people of River City, Iowa. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. The show includes favorite songs like “Goodnight my Someone”, “Gary Indiana”, “Marian the Librarian”, and “Seventy Six Trombones.”

The Music Man will run on the Cassidy Theatre stage July 10- 26, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. 

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Cassidy Theatre Box Office during regular hours 9-4 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for students and seniors.
