*Solon** **Center** for the Arts to offer Master Classes with students from
*

*Case** **Western Reserve** **University***



            Solon Center for the Arts is excited to announce a new
collaboration between the SCA Dance Department and Case Western Reserve
University. Beginning in April, students from the Case Western Reserve
University dance program will be offering master classes for ages 11 to 18.
These are repertory-based class in which students will learn material from
various choreographers, including Erick Hawkins and James Hansen.



            Each master class will begin with a modern based warm-up
followed by excerpts from modern choreography. The first master class will
take place on Wednesday, April 1 (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm) and will be instructed
by Danielle Dowler and Lois Rouzer. The second master class will be held on
Saturday, April 4 (12:15 pm - 1:45 pm) and will be instructed by Patsy Gay
and Rachel Stoneking. Classes are open to individuals with prior dance
experience. The cost for non-SCA students is $5.00 per master class.
Students interested in participating in one or both of these master classes
are asked to call SCA at 440.337.1400 by Wednesday, April 1 by 12:00 pm to
reserve a spot.
