CAMEO’s Night on Broadway

MEDINA, OH– The Cooperative Alliance of Medina Entertainment Organizations (CAMEO) is pleased to present its first benefit event entitled, "CAMEO's Night on Broadway."  The community is invited to enjoy this special night with some of Medina's favorite performers, as well as CAMEO friends from Playhouse Square and the Beck Center. The evening will feature performances of songs from past CAMEO summer shows (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Oklahoma!, King and I  to name a few)  and songs from shows planned for future productions.

This great night of live entertainment directed by Bill Hoffman and Tom Bonezzi takes place Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the beautiful and intimate Grace Drake Center for the Arts, 222 South Broadway, Medina.  Featured performers will be David Brinker, Elizabeth Hargrove, Sheila Ludwig, Kevin Joseph Kelly (Jud in CAMEO’s Oklahoma!and many other Cleveland shows), Greg Violand (Playhouse Square), and Maryann Nagel (affectionately referred to as "The Grande Damme of Cleveland Musical Theatre").  The evening begins at 7 PM with light refreshments and the performance commences at 8 PM. Audience donations will be accepted in lieu of an entrance fee.

CAMEO’s annual summer musical is the largest theatrical event in Medina County and one of the largest community-based musical productions in the State of Ohio.  With the generous support of the Greater-Medina community, CAMEO is able to hire the finest directors, choreographers, and music directors to share their extensive knowledge and experience with our cast of actors, dancers, and singers.  Plans are currently underway to produce the 7th summer show, Oliver.
