[NEohioPAL] Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre Festival Annual Open Call

The Cleveland Play House and Great Lakes Theatre Festival announce their
annual open auditions, scheduled for Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17
from 10AM to 5PM at the Cleveland Play House, 8500 Euclid Avenue.

Anyone who wishes to audition is invited to do so, though the auditions will
be by appointment only. Members of Actors' Equity Association may make
appointments starting Monday, April 27 at 10:00 AM. Non-union actors may
make appointments starting Monday, May 4 at 10:00 AM.  To schedule an
appointment, please email to aea.cleveland at yahoo.com. While email is
preferred, you may also call 440 779 2001.  Leave your name, email address
or phone number, preferred day, and whether you would prefer a morning or
afternoon appointment. You will receive a reply with your appointment time. 

For the audition, you will be given three minutes to do as you wish. Most
people split the time between two contrasting monologues. You are also
welcome to sing. If you would like piano accompaniment, please schedule your
appointment for the afternoon.

The theatres will not see non-union children under 18. Each theatre will
announce auditions for its respective Christmas presentations at a later
time.

The auditions are being generously facilitated by Actors' Equity
Association, in cooperation with Cleveland Theatre Collective. Artistic
directors from other theatres which offer AEA contracts will be invited to
attend.
