Calling Old-Time Musicians and Fans!



     May 23rd is the date for the 2nd annual “Caleb’s Carnival” in Conneaut,
Ohio. This event raises money for Leukemia research and to help families
with the associated costs of medical treatments. The event is named after
the nephew of Joel Specht, an old-time banjo picker. Joel is an amazing guy
and helps organize this event each year. His nephew Caleb’s leukemia is now
in remission thanks to the kindness of previous donors. Caleb is still
undergoing treatments, but there are others that need your help, and you can
help and have a great time as well.

     If you like helping people, and you like good music, bring your fiddle,
banjo, guitar, harmonica, bass, or just come by and do a little shopping at
the City Center Garden Market and support a very worthy cause. Bring your
own chair!
     The event takes place from 11:00 – 5:00. The address is 927 Main
Street, Conneaut, Ohio, 44030. For more information you can call
