TUESDAY, MAY 12th on AROUND NOON at 90.3 WCPN

Playwright Sarah Morton and cast member Cathy Albers will join Dee Perry to
talk about Morton’s newest play, DREAM/HOME, opening this Friday, May
15th at Dobama Theatre.

Home ownership is part of the American Dream. But what happens when that
dream is no longer affordable?

When a Cleveland school teacher takes on a mortgage she can’t afford, it
sets off a surprising
and devastating chain of events within the community. In a series of
poetic and provocative monologues, DREAM/HOME tells the stories of nine
Cleveland residents dealing with the repercussions of the foreclosure crisis, and
its impact on their neighborhoods, their families, and their dreams for
the future. Timely, human, and ultimately hopeful, the play peels back the
layers of the crisis to reveal the complicated and fragile lives underneath–
as well as the unexpected connections between residents of an often-
divided city.

DREAM/HOME runs May 15th- June 7th at the Brooks Theatre at The Cleveland
Play House,
8500 Euclid Avenue.
