If you are looking for something light and fun to see this weekend:

Medina High School is presenting Showtime 2009 ~Celebrate~ on the Medina Performing Arts Center Main Stage.

The performance will feature all seven high school choirs, along with student ensembles and soloists. Choirs and ensembles perform with choreography, lighting and set effects, costumes, and a full pit band. Selections from Hairspray, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chicago, Footloose, Enchanted, The Wiz, The Producers, Shrek, Spring Awakening, and Aida, along with many pop songs such as Love Shack, Love Story, Free Ride, and soul selections form the 70's.

Performances are on Friday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now sale for all three performances. They are $10 and can be purchased using Visa or MasterCard from the Medina Performing Arts Center Box Office by calling 330-636-3400. You may also purchase tickets at the Box Office located at 851 Weymouth Road during the week from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
