This Thursday May 28th tune in to "Applause" with Dee Perry on WVIZ (Channel 10 on Time Warner for most of Cleveland) at 7:30 pm to watch the segment on the 48 Hour Film Project. Dee interviews Cleveland City Producer Brian Bowers as well as Andrew Killian from 529 Films (winner of the 2008 Best 48 Hour Film of Cleveland for their film "Striving for Excellence") as they share what it takes to make a film in 48 hours. Don't miss out!

Also this Friday meet Brian Bowers and the rest of the 48HFP Cleveland staff at Anatomy Nightclub from 6-9 pm for the 48 Hour Film Project Networking Party/Meet & Greet! Filmmakers, actors, crew, and anyone interested in participating in this year's 48HFP should come on down. We'll be able to answer questions about the competition as well as help filmmakers to meet actors and crew to form teams. Anatomy (http://www.anatomycleveland.com) is located as 1299 W. 9th St, Cleveland 44113. They'll be providing some great drink specials including $3 domestics, $5 cocktails, and $1 off of just about everything else!

The 48 Hour Film Project is the world's largest timed film competition, now in over 80 cities across the globe. Teams of filmmakers have 48 hours to write, edit, and produce their short films. This year's Cleveland 48HFP will happen July 31st-Aug. 2nd, with all of the films screened at the Cedar Lee Theatre on Aug. 5th and 6th. Registration will open on June 9th.
