Local author and award-winning essayist, Deanna Adams, will read an  
excerpt from her latest book, Confessions of a  Not-So-Good Catholic Girl, and 
sign copies  on: 

June 6th from 2 - 4 p.m.

Adams's book is a  collection of true stories about growing up in Northeast 
 Ohio.  
Baby  boomers will best relate to these stories. Those who cut their teeth 
on the  Mickey Mouse Club. Whose first love was a Beatle, or a Supreme, or a 
Temptation.  Who battled blemishes, while others braved the Vietnam War. 
And who  ultimately found  themselves part of the dreaded “Establishment,” 
while raising children and  watching parents grow old. 

Several of these stories  were previously published in various forms in 
local and regional newspapers and  magazines. Some are humorous, others 
poignant, but all will leave the  reader reflecting on his or her own life memories—
while demonstrating that  boomers can indeed grow old with a sense of 
grace, wisdom, and humor. . .  .  
And  often, faith.
