The Youngstown Playhouse will hold auditions for the upcoming musical revue, BLUES IN THE NIGHT, Monday, June 15 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, June 16 at 6 p.m., at the Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane.

BLUES IN THE NIGHT uses jazz, blues and Tin Pan Alley hits?from great artists such as Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen. The more than two dozen songs (e.g."Am I Blue?," "These Foolish Things Remind Me Of You," "Got?A Date With AN ANGEL," tell of the sweet, sexy and sorrowful experiences three women have with the lying, cheating, "snake of a man," who wrongs them.

The cast requires one male and three females, age 18 and up.?Those auditioning are asked to bring sheet music and be prepared to sing.

Playing dates for BLUES IN THE NIGHT are weekends, July 31-August 2 and August 7-9. For further information, call (330) 788-8739.
