“I Ain't Marching Anymore: Protest Music in America -- 1776
to Today”  takes place Wednesday, June
10, at 7 p.m., at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage (Richmond Rd., just south
of Shaker Blvd., Beachwood).

 

It’s a program of music and history, including songs
covering every era of  American history and
many types of music – from traditional folk to Woody Guthrie in the ‘30s, Bob Dylan in the ‘60s, R&B in the ‘70s, and much more, up to today.

 

Roots of American Music artists David Budin (guitar),
Afi-Odelia Scruggs (keyboards) and Doug McKean (bass), sing and play; and pop
music historian and journalist David Budin provides the historical context.
