[NEohioPAL] Dance Camp at Beck Center

            Beck Center Dance Camp (ages 7-14)
            July 6-10; Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
            Tuition:  $185
            
 
Beck Center Dance Camp is designed to enhance technique and enlighten young dancers.  Classes include ballet, variations, modern jazz, modern dance, hiphop, improvisation, folk dance, theater dance, mime, auditions, makeup, and stories of the great ballets.  Families are invited to attend a demonstration on Friday at 1:15 p.m. when students will share some of the dance techniques they have learned during the week.  Faculty:  Joan Hartshorne, Cheryl Ortman, Mimi Schwensen, Devon Shriver, Kari Szucs, Melanie Szucs.  Students should bring a bag lunch and water
bottle.
 
Prerequisite:  one year of ballet.  Participants will be divided by age and ability on the first day of camp.

Beck Center for the Arts is a nonprofit, comprehensive arts organization offering professional theater on two stages, arts education in creative arts therapies, dance, early childhood, music, theater  and visual arts; as well as gallery exhibits featuring local and regional artists.
