[NEohioPAL] AUDITIONS FOR SKETCH COMEDY REVUE AT THE NCP!

[North Canton Playhouse]

Auditions will be held on July 27 at 7:00 p.m. for Sketch Comedy Revue featuring the works of comedic writer and actor Justin Edenhofer, who studied at the improve Mecca of the theatre world, Second City in Chicago.  It is being produced and directed by Jeremy Lewis.

Auditions will be held at 1210 South Main Street in North Canton, 44720 at the NCP Youth Theatre.

The revue will consist of a variety of short comedic sketches, ranging from witty forays to laugh-out-loud guffaws.   The rehearsal process will be extremely unique with a focus on improvisational games, use of actor's insight to refine text and character within each rehearsal, and work on developing a polished theatre performance, rooted in improvisation.  

Performances will be at the North Canton Playhouse Youth Theater on Main Street on August 27, 28, 29 and September 3, 4 and 5 at 8:00 p.m. and are appropriate for teens and adults.  Rehearsal will run Monday thru Friday.

Ages 15 and up are encouraged to audition, which will include reading from the script, improvisational games and FUN!  We are seeking new blood, as well as theater veterans, to round out the cast.  Rehearsals will include sketch comedy through improvisation.
