The Cleveland 48 Hour Film Project (http://www.48hourfilm.com/cleveland) will kick off on July 31st. Over 40 teams of filmmakers will have 48 hours to write, edit, and produce their own short film. All finished films will be screened at the Cedar Lee Theatre on August 5th and 6th before a sold out audience and a panel of local film professionals. On August 21st the event will conclude at Anatomy Nightclub with the 48HFP Awards Ceremony, an Academy-Awards style celebration where all of the award-winning films will be announced. The winner of the coveted "Best Film" of Cleveland will move on to the national 48 Hour Film Project competition, Filmapalooza.

The Cleveland 48 Hour Film Project is a part of the larger international 48HFP competition. Beginning in 2001, this year's 48HFP will have competitions in over 80 cities around the world. The 48 Hour Film Project is sponsored nationally by Panasonic, Rumblefish, Write Brothers Software, and the National Association of Broadcasters.

The Cleveland 48HFP is still seeking local sponsors for this year's Cleveland competition. Current local sponsors include the Cedar Lee Theatre, Anatomy Nightclub, West Park Station, and Cleveland Yoga. We are seeking items ranging from cash to photocopies to goodies and discounts for the filmmakers. In exchange for sponsorship, we can offer some of the following advertising opportunities, depending upon level of financial committment:

*company logo on Cleveland 48HFP website (http://www.48hourfilm.com/cleveland)
*name listed as a local sponsor in promotional emails, PSA's, press releases, etc.
*print ad in film screenings program (@358 seats per screening, 4 screenings)
*email blast to local 48HFP mailing list
*company name/logo listed as a sponsor in all film screenings
*15 or 30 sec. commercial spot in all film screenings

This is a great opportunity to promote your company to a captive audience at what is turning out to be the largest local film event in Cleveland! Don't miss out! Individuals or companies interested in sponsorship should contact Cleveland Producer Brian Bowers via email at cleveland at 48hourfilm.com or by phone at 216-367-9952 immediately!
