Mixed level Scenic Improv Workshop with two member's of the Chicago group, Belmont Transfer. (Bio's Below) Belmont Transfer will be perfroming as part of a triple bill on Friday August 7th at The Powerhouse Pub.

John Chesney


Originally from Cleveland, performed and wrote with "The Public Squares"  Loves performing and is constanly learning to Improv.

Graduated Improv-Olympic's Training Program 
Taken Classes through the Annoyance Training Center 

Performed on IO's runner up 5B team of the year "Den Mother"

Currently plays with "The Belmont Transfer" who was an official selection at The North Carolina Improv Festival and Los Angeles Festival.

Studied with Bill Arnett, Cody Dove, Nate Cockerill, Pat O'brian, Eddie Pina, Craig Uhlir, Dan Jessup Bob Ellis, Holly Laurent

Peter Robards has been involved with improv in one way or another for almost as long as he can remember. He is a graduate of both the Annoyance and iO training centers in Chicago and has studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NY.
Peter has been lucky enough to train with: Mick Napier, Susan Messing, Anthony King, Charlie Todd, Asaf Ronen, Bill Chott, Paul Sills, Mark Sutton, Joe Bill, Noah Gregoropoulos & many other amazing teachers.

On a national level Peter has toured with various groups to over a dozen nationally recognized comedy festivals and performed in New York, California, Illinois, North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, and Kentucky.
Peter has led workshops for a mix of middle school, high school, college, & professional improvisors in cities all around the Midwest and 



Currently, Peter works at The Annoyance Theater (where his performance credits include: Splatter Theatre, Frostbite & The Deep End) and can be seen performing along side Counter-Productive Lover, The Belmont Transfer, & Your Other Family all over Chicago.
