The Youngstown Playhouse will hold auditions for the upcoming "thriller-drama," DRACULA, Monday, August 24 and Tuesday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the theatre, 600 Playhouse Lane. The production is directed by Terri Wilkes.

Bram Stoker's classic novel has been adapted for the stage by playwright, W. Severin, and has been called "one of the great thrillers of all time." The play concerns young Lucy Seward, who has been attacked by a mysterious illness. When Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, is summoned to investigate, he fears that Lucy is the victim of a vampire.....a certain Count Dracula!

The cast calls for six males, age twenty to mid fifties, and two females, age 17 to mid twenties. All roles are open. Auditioners are asked to bring a wallet size photo and will read from the script. Rehearsals will begin on September 14,? Performances dates?for DRACULA are?October 23, 24. 25, 30, 31 and November 1st.
