The Illusion Factory's 2009-2010 School Tour Season 

Barbara Ballance, Director of The Illusion Factory, Akron’s professional theater for young audiences, is pleased to announce the theater’s 2009-2010 Tour Season: If You take a Mouse to School is adapted for the stage by Ernie Nolan of the Emerald City Theater Co. of Chicago.Based on the children’s bestseller by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond, the popular show is best for preschool – 5ht graders.It is available to tour to your site October 2009 – June 2010.

The second tour show is by award-winner Brian Kral, and suitable to tour to 5th – 12th grades.The Show, Troubled Waters, is a drama about an overpopulation of deer in the Florida Everglades.Based on a 1982 true happening, the play demonstrates how the problem affects various members of a family, especially a teenage boy.Troubled Waters is available for bookings January, 2010 – June, 2010.Both shows can be performed alone or in conjunction with a package of 16 – 20 thirty-minute workshops.
